I’ve always been drawn to pottery—the feel of clay in my hands, the slow coaxing of shape from something soft and formless, the quiet satisfaction of creating something real and tangible.
For years I didn’t have the space to explore ceramics. I attended a beginner session before going to open studio spaces locally. Teaching myself bit by bit, guided mostly by curiosity, patience, and a fair amount of mud under my nails.
When I moved to the Forest of Dean, everything finally clicked into place. I set up a small home studio where I could experiment freely—making mistakes, learning as I went, and rediscovering the simple joy of creating for its own sake.
Every piece I make is shaped slowly and intentionally, with room for the quirks that naturally come from handmade work.
Clay remembers every touch, and I love that. It gives each piece a sense of personality—something quietly human, lived‑in, and completely its own.
