All the glazes I use are food safe.

Food safety in ceramics is very important and a widely debated topic.

a lot of safety concerns come from ingredients like lead.

All my glazes hand made glazes use stable U.M.F calculation, are fired to maturity and use low concentrations of oxides.

I leach test all glazes to ensure they're resistant to acid.

All my commercial glazes are rated food safe by their respective manufacturer.

I wash and use my own mugs in the dishwasher on a daily bases and have had no issues. I do, however, recommend hand washing if you're concerned about the longevity of the piece.
